This restaurant was a total rip-off. I ordered a fish dish takeout. First of all, I was not presented with a menu. It took them nearly one hour to get my order ready. As I was getting impatient I peeked into their kitchen. That kitchen, ladies and gentlemen, was preposterously messy. A slaughter house would be a more appropriate name for it. It was conceivably the last place these poor animals have seen before their nefarious death. A mixture of dirty dishes, pots and pans represented the decor displayed even to the most impervious customer. When I asked the waitress for the bill, she kind of reminded me of an experience I had with a sleazy car salesman; at first, she was reluctant to reveal the final number. However when I insisted, she lured me in a corner, close to the cash register and printed it instead. Finally, a whopping $39 for a fish takeout, enough to harm even to the deepest pocket was the damage for my unfortunate visit. A number of this magnitude couldn't be whispered let alone verbalized, it had to be printed. And that's exactly what she did. This restaurant merits the visit of both the Health Department and the FL Better Business Bureau.

This is the worse place I went to for haitian creole food! I spent $18 on a take out order for fried turkey and a side of Mac and cheese! I waited 45 mins before I got my food... And when asked about my order I was told the macaroni and cheese was the hold up, which turned out to be easy mac!!!! I called as soon as I got home and was told the manager was busy in a meeting (at 9pm :/)! I was then put on hold and eventually hung up on!! I called back a second time same thing! I called back a third time and finally with all the fussing and educating about customer service I finally talked to the manager, Juliane! The manager then went to say the Mac and cheese I ordered was a kids portion which was clearly an adult size portion (see picture uploaded) and YES they do serve easy mac! I was very disappointed and will never go back there! I only went here because of the location but NEVER AGAIN! For $7 I could've went home and cooked my own easy mac I didn't need a restaurant for that!!! I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have taken me 45 mins to cook either!!!!!!! Don't waste your money!!! Service is bad and so is the food! Try Chez Guyto it's worth the drive!!!! I only give it 1 star bc I had to choose something!!!!!

I truly love this place! The lemonade is great and I usually get the chicken. Me and my family come here all the time an we are very close with the owner. They have a live band that plays at night so I recommend coming during the day if you don't like the loud noise and whatnot. If you like the music and dancing.. Come at night. I truly love it here! I have no complaints. And don't forget to ask about their lunch special, I believe it's $5 All an all great place. Pictures will be up soon.

The food and service is always great! It's a community Resturant but has the grace for special events and great parties. I'm actually watching a soccer match now. There are 4 full screen TV's for sports and entertainment activities. The bathroom is clean and overall decor is okay. It's a great place to hang out if you live in the Broward area and want a little taste of Haiti.

The rating is more of a 3.5 but I think within time it could develop to a solid 5! Sometime ago, just across the street from this location (where Party City sits now) there was a restaurant called Casa Champet where you were met with huge wooden doors and a upbeat ambiance as events were held nightly (sometimes with a cover charge)... The location then closed down and I thought I would not see them again Wrong! They (I'm not sure if it's new management or something happened with the previous management) have reopened under a different name (only changing Casa to Kasa). The location is large in size and also has a center stage for live entertainment which they are known for as many Haitian artists come to perform the night away. There is also a bar for alcoholic drinks and plenty of seating throughout the restaurant with full waiting staff! The food... Boulet - These are meatballs seasoned with herbs and spices and pieces of onions. They are then fried and they are oh so delicious. There packed with flavor and are not too spicy. This meal also comes with your choice of rice which can be rice and peas or white rice and depending on the day black rice with mushrooms! Trust me the rice is flavored so well that you can eat it on its own! Kibby Beef - Well known in the Middle East, kibby is a torpedo-shaped fried croquette stuffed with minced beef. The shell is crispy, the inside is hot and the beef is nicely seasoned! My recommendation is to dip these into Pickliz (a pepperish slaw) to send it into over drive, you won't regret it! Legume - A stew that usually consists of beef but can have pork or seafood such as crab in it. The version I had was with beef, cabbage, carrots, onions and green peppers. This dish is best with white rice (IMO), it's really good comfort food, the beef pieces are sliced and are stewed to tender heaven tied in with the veggies throughout make it an all star dish! Steamed Fish - This is a whole steamed red snapper, steamed with veggies and peppers to give it a special kick, the meat comes off the fish with ease and each taste or lick fufills your seafood appetite! Why not a four or five star rating? Possibly opening pains... In my times coming here... Sometimes the waitress will not know the details of the each dish and with each probing question she has to go back to the kitchen, also the legume dish... I like it meaty with solid pieces and sometimes I don't get that... I'll even request to please make sure that it is meaty and I'll come home to a stew with just OK pieces of beef. I believe with time certain aspects will be taken care of and my stars will change, in the meantime, if you like or are interested in Haitian food and are in Broward then this would be an excellent spot to check out!

If you're looking for Mom's cooking you're not going to find it here. Their menu is too big and the food is greasy, over fried, overpriced, and inauthentic. I wonder if the chef is really Haitian. Please don't take people here, you'll be embarrassed. They have Fettuccini Alfredo on the menu (that should sum it up for ya). The griot was bad. They were just a pile of over fried charred chunks of pig fat. The rice was weird and not fresh. Sorry. I really wanted to like this place because there's no other Haitian restaurants in the area, but no they need to do a better job in the kitchen.

The food is really good there. The only thing I would suggest is, to speed up the service. Besides that good job. Proud to be Haitian
